Kidora is a free tool that helps parents check how their child is developing and gives them activities to try at home. Because you trust us with information about your child, this page explains plainly what we collect, why, who can see it, and how to get it deleted.
The short version
- We collect what's needed to run the assessment and show you results — your email, and your child's first name, age and answers.
- We never sell your data, and we don't show ads or use your child's information for advertising.
- Your child's information is shared with a doctor only if you choose to book a consultation, and only with that doctor.
- You can delete everything at any time in the app, or by emailing [email protected]. See how to delete your account. We'll do it within 30 days.
Who we are
Kidora is operated by Abdullah, an individual developer based in Pakistan. Abdullah is responsible for the information described on this page. If you have any question about it, write to [email protected].
Kidora's developmental content is written and reviewed by Ms. Tehreem Talat, Consultant Clinical Psychologist, who acts as Kidora's clinical lead. If you book a consultation, the professional you book with is responsible for their own clinical records of that session.
This policy covers both the Kidora website and the Kidora mobile app.
What we collect

We ask for a first name only. Please don't enter your child's full name, school, address, photographs, or any medical records — Kidora does not need them.
What we don't collect
- We don't ask for or store payment card details. If paid consultations are introduced, payment is handled by a separate payment provider and card numbers never reach us.
- We don't collect precise location.
- We don't access your contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
Information about children
Kidora is designed for parents and caregivers to use, not for children to use on their own. All information about a child is entered by the adult who is responsible for them.
By using Kidora you confirm you are the child's parent or legal guardian, or that you have their permission to enter this information.
We treat a child's information as sensitive. It means we:
- collect only what the assessment genuinely needs;
- never use it to target advertising, and never allow anyone else to;
- never sell it or trade it;
- delete it when you ask us to.
How we use it
We use the information above only to:
- produce your child's assessment results and show which areas need support;
- suggest daily activities and track progress over time;
- email you your results and reminders about your child's progress;
- arrange a consultation if you choose to book one;
- fix bugs and keep the service running safely.
We do not use your information to make any automated decision that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you or your child.
Kidora is not a medical diagnosis
Kidora's results are a guide to help you notice where your child may need extra support. They are not a diagnosis and are not a substitute for assessment by a qualified professional. If you are worried about your child's development, please speak to a doctor.
Who we share it with
Doctors and specialists
If you choose to book a consultation, we share your child's assessment results with that specific professional only, so they can prepare for the appointment. We don't share your information with any professional you haven't chosen to book with. Professionals on Kidora are required to keep what they see confidential and to use it only for your consultation.
Service providers
We use trusted companies to run Kidora — for example to host our database and to send emails. They can only process your information on our instructions, and they cannot use it for their own purposes.
Legal reasons
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if it's necessary to protect a child from harm.
What we never do
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone building marketing profiles.
How we store and protect it
Your information is stored on secure servers operated by our hosting provider. We protect it by:
- encrypting information while it travels between your device and our servers;
- restricting access so that only staff who genuinely need it can see it;
- keeping the systems that hold your data behind authentication and access controls.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take these responsibilities seriously and review them as Kidora grows.
Where your information is stored
Kidora is available in Pakistan, the United States and other countries. Your information may be stored or processed in a country different from where you live. Wherever it is held, this policy applies to it.
How long we keep it
- Assessment results and progress: kept while your account is active, so you can see your child's development over time.
- Inactive accounts: if you don't use Kidora for 24 months, we delete the information associated with it.
- After a deletion request: removed from our live systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90 days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what information we hold about you and your child;
- Correct anything that's wrong;
- Delete your account and everything in it — see how to delete your account;
- Get a copy of your information in a portable format;
- Stop emails — every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
To make any of these requests, email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We'll respond within 30 days. There's no charge, and you don't have to give a reason.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses only the cookies needed to make it work — for example, remembering your progress through the assessment. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't allow third parties to track you across other websites.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant — for example, if we start collecting something new — we'll email you before it takes effect.
